Boost
💡 Variety instead of copy-paste: Save several custom boost messages. For every new boost, Nexus picks one at random, so your thank-you messages don't keep repeating.
Step 1: Set the Boost Channel
First, choose where Nexus should post the thank-you message:
Type
/settingsin the chat.Click Change boost channel and select the text channel you want.
Note: If no boost channel is set, Nexus automatically uses your welcome channel. If that isn't set either, no message is posted.
Step 2: Create Custom Messages (optional)
Without custom messages, Nexus uses a default text that mentions the member and shows the current boost count. For a more personal touch, you have two options:
Method 1: Via the Dashboard (Recommended)
Open the Nexus Dashboard and select your Discord server.
Go to Boosts in the menu.
Add a new message using the placeholders listed below.
You can edit or delete existing messages there at any time.
Method 2: Directly in Discord
With the Manage Server permission, you can also do it right in the chat:
Type
/boost_messagein the chat.Click ➕ Add and enter your message in the pop-up.
Use ✏️ Edit and 🗑️ Delete to manage existing messages.
Available Placeholders
{user}: Mentions the booster (e.g. @Max), which also pings them.
{username}: The booster's display name, without a ping.
{server}: Your server's name.
{count}: The server's current number of boosts.
Example: Thank you {user} for boosting {server}! We now have {count} boosts. 🚀
Limits
Free: 1 custom boost message.
Premium: up to 5 messages, from which Nexus picks one at random.
If Premium expires, all messages stay saved, but only the first one is still used. The rest are marked as 🔒 inactive.
Tip: You'll find a full list of all chat commands in our command reference for Boosts.
